Torrevieja is a Spanish town on the coast of Costa Blanca, i.e. the white coast. It is situated approx. 50 miles south of the well known Benidorm. Providing around 330 days of sunshine a year and an average temperature of 18ºC, Torrevieja is a typical Mediterranean town with its warm climate and pleasant people. The fresh winds from the Mediterranean keep the climate enjoyable all year.

In Torrevieja you can find all the necessary amenities. It is possible to be served by English speaking personnel in many banks, the tax office etc. English speaking doctors are also readily available, as are schools with special tuition for children of a foreign origin. The clean waters in this area of the Mediterranean are particularly suited for snorkeling and diving. One of the most favored sports in the area is golf. At the radius of 6 miles four excellent courses, each one with 18 holes can be found. More courses are also currently being built in the area, due to rising demand.
